THIS WEEK’S MEETING
Sarah Reuf-Lindquist, Cindy Allen, and Abraham Dugal will provide our club with an update on the Satellite Club’s activities. Lunch will be chicken broccoli Alfredo lasagna, tossed vegetable salad, and cookies.

MUSIC BY THE SEA
To date, we have raised over $17,000 in donations and pledges to Music by the Sea. Please join us if you have not already done so! You can make check payable to the Camden Rotary Foundation and mail it to the Camden Rotary Club, PO Box 602, Camden, ME 04843.  You could also hand it to a member of our fundraising team (Graham Phaup or Bob Fillnow).  Please make a note on your check or pledge that it is for 2019 Music by the Sea. Thank you for your investment in this Camden tradition and one of our most significant events.

SELECT BOARD PRESENTATION
On Tuesday, May 21, Joan Phaup and Bob Fillnow will be presenting two recommendations to the Camden Select Board: (1) closure of Atlantic Avenue for Music by the Sea; and (2) request to post banners along High and Main Street to advertise the event. The meeting starts at 6:30 and all Rotarians are invited to attend this meeting, wearing their Rotary gear. For more information, please contact Diane Lebson at dlebson@evergreenphilanthropy.com.

ROTARY BOOK CLUB
The Rotary Book Club is taking a break for the summer. The next meeting will be on Tuesday, September 10, in the home of Bob and Cheryl Rubin in Eastward on the Ocean, off Warrenton Street in Rockport. September’s book will be The Big Burn: Teddy Roosevelt and the Fire that Saved America by Timothy Egan.

The next meeting of the Rotary Satellite Club will take place on Thursday, May 23, at 5:15 p.m. The Club meets at 40 Paper, 40 Washington Street, Camden. Satellite Club members are eager to meet fellow Rotarians, so please feel free to visit.
